EC 1907/2006 REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) is an integrated management system that regulates the procedures for the registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemical substances.
Regulatory Overview
SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) refers to substances designated based on the criteria in REACH Article 57.
In accordance with REACH Article 59(10), SVHCs are officially published through the Candidate List.
Once a substance is included in the Candidate List, obligations such as notification, information sharing, and SCIP submission arise.
SVHCs may later be added to the Authorisation List (Annex XIV) following continuous evaluation.
