The EMRT is a reporting template used for smelter disclosure related to Cobalt, Mica, Copper, Graphite (natural), Lithium, and Nickel. The main updates are as follows:
Declaration Tab: Addition of an explanatory note
Since the reporting scope is optional, this note was likely added to ensure that the preparer clearly understands that the form will change depending on the minerals selected.
Added Explanation Text: “The minerals selected here are reflected in questions 1–7 and C, and will be sorted in alphabetical order. Please ensure that the answers match the intended minerals.”
Product List tab: New columns related to the requestor’s product information
New column names: Requestor Product Number & Requestor Product Name
The AMRT was developed to support the supply chain tracing and reporting of additional key minerals beyond those covered by the CMRT and EMRT. The main updates are as follows:
Declaration tab: Added explanatory text within the mineral reporting scope selection field & Modified the method for selecting the mineral reporting scope
Explanation text: “The minerals entered here are reflected in questions 1–2 and will be sorted in alphabetical order. Please ensure that the answers match the intended minerals.”
Mineral Reporting Scope – Previous: Manual entry
Mineral Reporting Scope – New: Selection from a predefined list
Available mineral options: Aluminum, Iridium, Lime, Manganese, Palladium, Platinum, Rare Earth Elements, Rhodium, Ruthenium, Silver, Soda Ash, Zinc, and Other
When “Other (specify below)” is selected, manual entry of the mineral name is required.
Smelter Look-up tab: Newly introduced
Product List tab: New columns related to the requestor’s product information
